Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had said that apart from ‘asanas’, yoga also includes several breathing exercises that have many health benefits. He had further said, “The beauty of yoga is in its simplicity. All you need is a yoga mat and some free space. Yoga can be done at home, at work or in a group.”

Prime Minister Modi had said that Yoga has gained tremendous popularity globally in the last few years.
The Prime Minister had also urged everyone to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21 and make yoga a part of daily life. On this upcoming International Day of Yoga on 21st June, Modi is set to lead the celebrations from Mysore.
